I had a great Weds. and Thurs. With Sherir and Tony from the Israeli Contact Combat System. The class was amazing. I was there as the medic, but ended up with two great new friends. It was great to see the dedication, loyalty and care these two have about country, family and each other. I truly look forwards to staying in touch with them. Thanks guys and everyone from the USSA Training Group for a great couple of days.

Things are moving here at home, but we are now looking to setup a class with Mark in Colorado. Mark Rowland is the Operations Section Chief for the Fremont County Sheriff’s Incident Management Team, and an Incident Management instructor for Fremont Search and Rescue. He Owns P4 Training and the Sweetwater River Ranch in Texas Creek Colorado. The cost of the class will be the same and we will be doing the training at several locations around the river ranch. Mark will provide a 10% off discount to the students for the various lodging options he has avaliable. |

So far, this year has been filled with ups and downs. Summer is just around the corner and the training is starting up again. USSA (United States Shooting Academy) is looking to keep classes rolling on a regular schedule. We also have Mark working it in Colorado. Sean Sorrin has left the CO. area to move to California. We wish him the best out there. He will be truly missed on the Ark.

DXP Oilfield Operations It has been alittle while since I had time to write. Things are going very well, working with DXP. We do training and now have started standby medical and rescue operations with them. I am very excited to see where this will lead both of our companies. I am really enjoying it. We are getting to work with some great crews and on a variety of operations.

It has been awhile since I have slowed down to write. Winter is now upon us. This makes some of our training slower, but with the new addition of contracting with DXP Safety Services, it has picked up in other areas for us. We are very excited about the Spring. Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center is partnering with us to provide Wilderness Medical Training with them, along with all the great programs they already offer. American Adventure Expeditions is also partnering with us to help provide the safety and rescue training for the river guides in the Royal Gorge area. |

It has been a nice Fall. We have done some classes and I have met some great people. The kayak group has been alot of fun. We have paddled some nice areas and I have been able to help people learn more about the awesome sport of kayaking. A few of us did the Illinois after some good rain and it was a blast with the water up and running well. Winter is almost upon us. I have been contracted by DXP Safety to do training and oilfield safety for them. This will be a nice switch and definately help with bills. |

We just finished doing the Wellness Care and Prevention program for Oklahoma coaches and student trainers/managers. We had a great time and I was very happy to provide the CPR/First Aid portion of the program. Met some great people and had alot of fun watching the coaches and kids learn the skills to save a life. I hope they never have to use any of it, but I was glad to be their instructor.
