You never know when you may witness a medical emergency and find a stranger, friend or family member in need of care until EMS can arrive. It is a proven fact that quick action from a trained provider can save lives and greatly increases that possibility.

 

If you are interested in hiking, biking, trail riding, paddling, hunting or just being in the great outdoors, you will likely come across someone needing help at some time. The Wilderness First Aid program we offer is designed for those types of emergencies. It allows you to provide emergency care in a remote setting, where you might need to provide life saving actions to someone. You will be able to do it with very little equipment and learn how to make use of what is at hand.

We also offer custom courses. In our Salida location, we can put together training that will incorporate extracurriculars such as climbing, biking and rafting. Both training centers can bring the training to you instead of you traveling to us, if you have a particular location you would like to train in.
